Baby Shower Workshop London: Charm Photo Frame & Phone Case Making

A custom charm photo frame from The Charmé Edit, made at a private baby shower workshop

Baby showers usually need two separate things sorted: an activity to keep guests entertained, and a favour for everyone to take home. A private charm workshop covers both at once. Guests spend the afternoon decorating a photo frame or phone case with charms, then leave with the thing they made rather than a generic favour bag nobody asked for.

An Activity and a Keepsake in One

The usual baby shower activity, a quiz, a nappy race, a guessing game, fills maybe twenty minutes before everyone's ready for something else to do. A charm workshop runs for longer because there's a genuine decision to make: which charms, which layout, which colours. It also solves the favour question without any extra planning, since what guests make during the activity is the thing they take home, so there's no separate trip to order favours that match a theme or colour scheme.

Photo Frame or Phone Case, Whichever Fits Your Shower

Our DIY charm photo frame making is the more popular choice for baby showers, since a 4x6-inch frame decorated with pearls, pastel charms, and initials works well displayed on a shelf afterward, and some hosts like to have guests use it to frame a printed scan photo or a message for the baby. If a guest would rather make something they'll use daily instead, DIY charm phone case making is available as an alternative, using the same charms collection, so the two activities can run side by side if your group has mixed preferences.

Hosting at Canary Wharf or the Mum-to-Be's Home

We host from our workshop space in Canary Wharf, London, fitting up to 12 guests, or we'll travel to a home, a hired venue, or wherever the shower is happening, for an additional fee based on distance. Since baby showers are often hosted at someone's flat or a family member's house already, travelling to you tends to be the more common choice, though Canary Wharf works well if you'd rather host somewhere neutral.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can guests choose between a phone case and a photo frame at the same shower?

Yes. Both activities can run side by side within the same booking, so guests with different preferences can each make what suits them.

Does the photo frame work if we want to include a printed baby scan?

Yes, the 4x6-inch frame is sized to fit a standard printed photo, so some hosts like guests to frame a scan photo or a short message for the baby as part of the design.

Is there a minimum group size for a baby shower workshop?

Yes, we ask for a minimum of 4 guests for any private event. There's no maximum if we're travelling to your venue, and our Canary Wharf space fits up to 12.

How far in advance should we book a baby shower workshop?

Ideally 7 to 14 days ahead, so we can confirm availability and prepare materials in time for your date.
